Otium Sine Litteris Mors Est

Euripides, Heracles 673-677 (tr. David Kovacs):
I shall not cease mingling
the Graces and the Muses,
a union most sweet.
May I never live a Muse-less life!
Ever may I go garlanded!

οὐ παύσομαι τὰς Χάριτας
ταῖς Μούσαις συγκαταμει-
γνύς, ἡδίσταν συζυγίαν.
μὴ ζῴην μετ᾽ ἀμουσίας,
αἰεὶ δ᾽ ἐν στεφάνοισιν εἴην.
